Sermon Sunday

OK so it's saturday, but here is some food for thought...
What matters is…
not the kind of car your drive, but how many people you gave transportation to that needed it…
not how many square feet your home is, but how many you welcomed into your home…
not how many clothes you have in your closet, but how many people you have helped to clothe…
not what your highest salary was but if you had to compromise your character to obtain it…
not what your job title is but how well you perform your job to the best of your ability…
not how many friends you have, but how many people to whom you were a friend…
not what neighborhood your live in, but how well you treated your neighbors…
not the color of your skin but the content of your character…
These are the things to remember and strive for, at least that is what I believe...do you have any to add to the list?

Sermon Sunday

I am fairly certain, given a cape and a tiara, I could save the world!
Life is tough, I recommend getting a manicure and a really cute helmet.

Sermon Sunday

Did another week go by already??? Yikes!!!
I hope you all had a safe and fun Halloween!
It's ofically Fall and I am enjoying it!
Something to ponder...

Within each of us lies the power of our consent to health and sickness, to riches and poverty, to freedom and to slavery. It is we who control these, and not another.
Richard Bach

Sermon Sunday

It is the heart that makes a man rich. He is rich according to what he is, not according to what he has.

Sermon Sunday

“So many people along the way, whatever it is you aspire to do, will tell you it can’t be done. But all it takes is imagination. You dream. You plan. You reach. There will be obstacles. There will be doubters. There will be mistakes. But with hard work, with belief, with confidence and trust in yourself and those around you there are no limits.” Michael Phelps, 8 - Gold Medal Winner 2008 Summer Olympics
